» feminist [the word] includes the idea that believing men and women to be equal, believing all people to be people is not a natural state — that we don’t emerge, assuming that everybody in the human race is a human, that the idea of equality is just an idea that’s imposed on us, that we are indoctrinated with, that it’s an agenda. Fifty Spooks by State

Phew! That was a killer amount of work. This was my final for my Language and Letterforms class. It involved a copious amount of looking up ghosts, copious amounts of drawing, and copious amounts of digital layout. The original is 85 inches long, but tumblr would really rather I didn’t try to upload a file that big.

I’m extremely pleased with the final result. In the future I’d like to make these into some books or make some sort of game out of them. All in all, I’m just stoked about them. If you have any questions about the ghosts or the project, feel free to ask!!

In Irish folklore, the Dobhar-chu is a water creature that resembles an otter or a dog, and may be part fish. It is also a cryptid, and there are alleged sighting of the Dobar-chu as recently as 2003.

What a trip.

Wow these photos are stunning

Some of these outfits are the raddest things I’ve ever seen.

Can we talk about the tights.

The existence of photos like these (and similar photos from the 70s and 80s and so on) makes me wonder yet again why current-day movies set in this time never seem to be able to get the hair and clothing right.

^thank u
